Building Circles of Support: An Educational Series on FASD

The Manitoba FASD Centre’s Building Circles of Support is an educational series on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
The information series is for parents, caregivers, other family members, and professionals who support children and youth 17 years old and younger recently seen or diagnosed at the Manitoba FASD Centre.
Our Fall 2025 series will run every Thursday from 1-3 PM for 8 weeks. All sessions will be at SSCY Centre, 1155 Notre Dame Ave. Winnipeg, MB.
A different topic will be discussed each week. We encourage you to commit to attend for the entire 8 weeks. Topics often include, but are not limited to:
- What does it mean that my child has FASD?
- How will FASD affect their behaviour, school performance and social interactions?
- How can I help others understand my child’s disability?
- How can I help my child understand his/her disability?
- How can I help my child develop his/her strengths?
