On Thursday, June 20 staff from RCC/SSCY and children from the Inspired By Wonder Daycare, came together to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day and Summer Solstice. The program consisted of special guests, a ceremony and performances. We Thank Elder Annie Bowkette who did a traditional Lighting of the Qullic Ceremony, throat singers Lucy Angnakok and Aletra Sammurtok for their performance and the Four Sacred Hearts drumming group for all their moving and beautiful songs and teachings.
